Leo the Wolf was built in VirtualSociety with the cystic fibrosis team and patient education unit at Nancy University Hospital. It helps children understand the equipment and practice each step of aerosol therapy in a familiar setting.

Aerosol therapy involves several pieces of equipment and a routine that children need to repeat regularly. The cystic fibrosis team and patient education unit wanted a concrete way to explain those steps during appointments and help children become more familiar with them.
Children discover the equipment and put the steps in order. Care professionals and patients involved in the project recorded the characters’ voices. The care team can then go through the steps with the child during the workshop.
